New Beginnings

First of all, thank you to all of our customers new and old that have stuck with The Nest through the years. These past few years have presented us with many challenging hurdles we had to overcome, but this year is the year for new beginnings!

To all that don’t know me, my name is Bailey and I am partnering up with Amy to run the Nest’s website. I just graduated from Iowa State in December with a degree in Advertising. I will be running the blog and the social media for The Nest. Amy and I are joining forces to push The Nest in a positive and creative direction!

This year we are planning big things for The Nest’s website and blog. For the blog, we will be featuring lots of DIY projects, junking trips, product previews and more. Don’t miss out on any of the action and subscribe to the blog by e-mail!

Additions of web items will also become more consistent. We will be having new product additions every Thursday on a weekly basis. Make sure you don’t miss out on anything! We just got back from market and can’t wait to show you what we found. Our product selection will also be shifting in the coming year. We will be adding more vintage and handmade items to complement our regular product selection.

The brick and mortar store will continue to be just a supplement to our online business. We will have three special open houses this coming year and openings on randomly announced weekends as well. Our three open house dates will be announced at a later date, but stay informed by subscribing to our email list and liking us on Facebook. We HIGHLY recommend our local customers to order online. We will be offering reduced shipping for local customers!

We are currently switching our website to a much faster web system, so please bear with us through product addition delays.. It will be worth the wait!

All in all, we will be trying lots of new things at The Nest in the coming year and hope you’ll join in on our excitement! We can’t wait to see what 2014 will bring :)
